Route Service and Sales Technician

About the role

This role blends hands-on service and mechanical work with account management, customer service, and sales. You will manage every aspect of over 130 restaurant customers, including:

• Preventative maintenance and repair of commercial dishwashing machines
• Product delivery and inventory management of cleaning chemicals
• Invoicing, receiving payments, upselling, and on-site training
• Building strong customer relationships to drive loyalty and new sales opportunities
• Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial dishwashing equipment
• Manage product delivery and inventory of cleaning chemicals for restaurant clients
• Handle invoicing, payment processing, and upselling opportunities
• Conduct on-site training for customers
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and generate new sales
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address emergency service requests

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs
• Sales mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and build trust
• High accountability, reliability, and pride in work
• Valid driver’s license for at least three years
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screen

Pay

Pay range: $24–$25/hour. Annual earning potential: $70,000–$78,000 (includes hourly base pay, commission, and overtime).

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with overtime opportunities.
