Job Duties and Requirements
- Transport students on daily routes and other transportation operations while following CDE, CDL and district policies and any other relevant state or federal regulations.
- Drive varying and directly assigned daily transportation routes and substitute for varying routes and district operations as needed.
- Safely operate all department vehicles as assigned to support department and district operations and emergency district needs during all hours of the day and all types of weather/traffic conditions as needed.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of state and federal transportation laws and regulations and Thompson Schools District policies and procedures.
- Provide customer service and resolve operational route needs and concerns with department and district staff.
- Provide any needed support to the department and district in emergency situations.
Pay
The starting rate of pay is $25.68 per hour plus benefits. The range 21 ($25.68 - $41.81) - Classified Salary Schedule applies.
