Route Sales Support Driver

As a Route Service Representative (RSR) at Vestis®, you’ll operate in a competitive environment, balancing exceptional customer service with individual sales growth goals. Advocate for the organization by generating goodwill and loyalty while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van in a designated area to deliver products and services to clients.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
• Manage a daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.
• Load and unload products following company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads, prospect new customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts to support sales efforts.
• Understand Vestis® services, policies, and pricing, and clearly communicate them to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
• Prioritize personal safety and the safety of others by adhering to safe work practices and using proper tools and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 with a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
• Customer service experience with consistent customer interaction.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services or products and generating new business (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and address customer concerns quickly.

Physical Requirements

• Routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from the truck without assistance.
• Occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.
• Frequent bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
• Fast-paced environment requiring irregular and long hours.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $19.10, depending on skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, prior experience, and market data.
