About the role
Alpha Baking Company, Inc. is now hiring a route salesman/driver based out of Manitowoc, Wisconsin depot.
Responsibilities
- Ordering and delivering products to retail customer accounts in a timely manner
- Customer service
- Collections
- Route inventory management
- Deliver and merchandise products at retail customer accounts
- Work independently while managing time and productivity
Qualifications
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Must have the capability to maintain D.O.T. certification
- Must be able to start work in very early morning hours
- Must be able to work on Saturday
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be capable of using a dolly
- Must be able to successfully complete a background screening
- Must be able to pass post-offer DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Must be able to work and drive in all weather conditions (rain, sleet, snow, and wind)
- Prior route delivery and sales experience is helpful
