Route Sales/Delivery Driver

About the role

Reliant Holdings is seeking a route sales delivery driver to manage existing and expand the company’s customer base. The primary responsibility involves transporting dry ice and insulated containers for customer shipping and frozen needs within the Chicago area. The position operates during daytime hours and drivers are home every night.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to deliver Dry Ice to customers' home or place of business
• Record transactions on customer receipts
• Record sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery records
• Listen to and resolve service complaints
• Pick up or deliver empty containers
• Load truck
• Obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickups or deliveries
• Clean inside of truck
• Schedule routine maintenance on truck

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills

• Driving experience
• Class B CDL license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Knowledge of order processing systems
