About the Opportunity:The Route Optimization Analyst plays a critical role in planning and optimizing delivery routes to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for designing and implementing route solutions that align with business objectives and adapting routing strategies in response to evolving market needs. The role also supports system transitions and ensures seamless operations during technology upgrades. 3. Responsibilities:• Analyze and redesign existing routes to improve efficiency and meet business needs.• Plan daily stop routing according to established rules.• Develop optimal routes to satisfy customer requirements while reducing costs.• Collaborate with the Corporate Service team on route solution implementation.• Convert business requirements into technical specifications for routing.• Establish routing for new markets and acquisitions.• Act as Subject Matter Expert during the transition from Roadnet to Wise systems.• Maintain dual operations and continuous route support during system changes.• Manage and analyze route data within the Transportation Management System.• Support Transportation Management System upgrades.• Provide quarterly reports on system efficiency and usage.• Report on route change data, including impacts on driver compensation.• Coordinate routing changes with operations to avoid negative customer impact. 4. Requirements:• 2-4 years of relevant route planning experience.• Experience with Transportation Management software; familiarity with Roadnet and/or Wise preferred.• Experience in system conversions or implementations preferred.• Bachelor’s degree.• Understanding of DOT guidelines.• Strong geographical knowledge.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to meet deadlines.• Willingness to travel 25 to 40 percent based on work needs. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The estimated compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $94,000, influenced by skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
