Route Janitorial Floor Tech

Around the Role

Under general direction, the Janitorial Floor Tech will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of all carpeted and hard surface floors throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and care for a variety of floor types, including tile, carpet, and brick.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Follow established procedures for the correct use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Operate, maintain, and care for floor cleaning equipment safely and properly.
• Consistently observe safety protocols, including the use of “wet floor” signs and other precautions.
• Promptly report any safety hazards or concerns.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in floor care, janitorial, or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining floor care equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe usage practices.

Pay

An hourly rate of $20.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, part-time at night.
