ROUTE DRIVER - SMARTSERVICE (FULL TIME)

About the role

Drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products and maintain inventory, providing top‑notch service to clients and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the truck is properly loaded with all required product before each route, following operational procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load hand cart with product totes, transport them to machines, load machines, and return empty totes to the truck.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
• Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Perform minor service and adjustments on machines; report defective equipment to maintenance or dispatcher.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints; report complaints to supervisor promptly.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or distribute promotional materials.
• Account for all receipts of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation according to established procedures.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license and safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of customer service experience or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lb on a consistent basis.

Pay

Fixed pay rate of $25.00 per hour, plus commission eligibility with a minimum guarantee of $1,000 per week.

Schedule

Full‑time schedule, Monday through Friday; early morning start, hours may vary.
