ROUTE DRIVER - OFFICE COFFEE (FULL TIME)
About the role
Canteen is hiring a full-time ROUTE DRIVER - OFFICE COFFEE position. The role is located at Canteen - 1000 East Hammond Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85034. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, early morning start. Further details will be provided during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
- Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and other related equipment.
- Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines. Report defective equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher when necessary.
- Prior to beginning each day's route, ensure the truck is properly loaded with all required product following outlined operational procedures.
- Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
- Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product. Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with District procedures.
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous customer service, barista, merchandising, and route driving experience required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- 3 years driving experience required. Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license (unless otherwise indicated by state).
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
- Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day.
