Route Driver (Non CDL)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to join our team as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver. This position offers a competitive salary range of $20.50 - $26.00 per hour based on verifiable driving experience, plus quarterly bonuses. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00am to finish, with guaranteed 40 hours per week and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observe, obey, and abide by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strive to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Perform a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle, including checking all fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, and evaluating general roadworthiness to ensure compliance with DOT requirements.

Requirements

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid drivers license.
• A minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.
