Route Driver, Non-CDL (4 Day Work Week!)

About the role

Johnson Brothers is proud to supply all 55 counties in West Virginia with over 2,000 different varieties of wine, spirits, and craft beer. The Non-CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, bars, and other customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires operating a Non-CDL vehicle, or other company vehicle, in compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, as well as company safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company safety standards.
• Deliver products to customer locations according to established routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, and transport products, including cases, kegs, and related merchandise.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other required documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition and placed according to customer requirements.
• Collect signatures, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during all customer interactions.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and commercial team members regarding delivery status or issues.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting, loading, and unloading techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Assist with warehouse, inventory, and other operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Previous delivery driving experience.
• A good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. repeatedly.
• Good knowledge of the surrounding area.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
