About the role
As a Driver Helper Non-Formula, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of product delivery to our customers. You will ride with and assist Drivers in tractor trailers, tandem trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery and unloading of various products in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, answer questions accurately, and function as a team member within the department and organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks and/or company vehicles.
- Place products in areas identified by customers.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6–12 months of experience in a warehouse environment and interfacing with customers.
- Able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves/pallets from various heights, weighing between 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds, depending on location.
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Pay
$22.50/hour
