Route Driver Coffee

About the role

Hall's Culligan of Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Route Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves a daily route with no overnight deliveries, playing a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of coffee products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the delivery vehicle each day before leaving the warehouse to ensure it is loaded correctly.
• Familiarize yourself with the route layout and customers' requests to complete the scheduled route.
• Complete all deliveries on route as scheduled.
• Ensure route optimization by identifying challenges or roadblocks ahead of time to complete the route in the most efficient manner.
• Interact with customers while representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Address customer questions or concerns during deliveries.
• Respond with a sense of urgency and professionalism to customer requests and concerns outside of regular delivery schedule.
• Develop a strong understanding of the products being delivered and the proper product handling.
• Provide information about products to customers when necessary.
• Complete customer agreements and route sheets accurately and legibly.
• Perform payment collection from customers; promptly turn in customer payments and daily activity sheets to the office staff at the end of each workday.
• Adhere to the proper utilization of handheld palm units, while entering accurate information concerning the customer and abiding by all rules concerning its use.
• Achieve sales goals approved by the Area Sales Manager or GM.
• Able to sell and upsell the latest products and accessories.
• Operate delivery vehicles safely; adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
• Perform Daily Vehicle Inspections and report any issues to management.

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Pass a Drug Screen.
• Pass a criminal background check per Company requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age or older and able to pass, and maintain, a driving record check to be insurable by the Company in order to operate a company vehicle.
• Be able to safely operate/drive company vehicles, daily for approximately 8-10 hours.
• Be able to lift up to 30lbs on a repetitive basis.
• Remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of performing the duties required of this position.
