Job Profile Summary
The CDL B Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, bars, and other customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires operating a Class A commercial vehicle, or other company vehicle, in compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, as well as company safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company safety standards.
- Deliver products to customer locations according to established routes and schedules.
- Load, unload, and transport products, including cases, kegs, and related merchandise.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other required documentation for accuracy.
- Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition and placed according to customer requirements.
- Collect signatures, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during all customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and commercial team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting, loading, and unloading techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Assist with warehouse, inventory, and other operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class B CDL license
- Previous Delivery Driving experience
- A good driving record
- Heavy repetitive lifting is involved, must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. repeatedly
- Good knowledge of the surrounding area
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated, work independently and self-managed to meet deadlines
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience is preferred. A High School diploma or GED is required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay for this position is $25.00/hour plus incentive opportunities, with up to $200 bi-weekly Safety Incentive.
