About the role
The Route Delivery Driver at Pacific Seafood supports operational efficiency, enhances brand reputation, and drives sales. This role involves providing accurate product and pricing information, taking orders, and ensuring deliveries are made safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure goods are loaded in a safe and logical order, communicate needed changes to manager, verify order accuracy, secure load, unload products, complete paperwork, and handle returns.
- Efficient Operations: Apply The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy, promote teamwork, follow safety checks, adhere to DOT regulations, and report maintenance issues.
- Customer Service: Provide efficient, accurate, and productive service, address customer issues promptly, and represent the company positively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of related experience in delivery and sales of perishable food products
- Valid driver's license
- Clean MVR for past 3 years
Qualifications
- The ability to pass a road test
- Proven track record of succeeding in time-sensitive situations
- Familiarity with local area
