About the Role

Guardian in Amherst, NY is looking for a dependable and hardworking Route Cleaner to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Travel an assigned route to perform cleaning services at designated locations
• Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards at each stop along the route
• Manage time efficiently to complete all route stops within scheduled windows
• Inspect and restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues
• Communicate with supervisors regarding any site concerns or service issues
• Uphold safety and sanitation protocols at all times

Requirements

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage a route with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift
• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings or evenings as needed
