Route-Based Pest Control Technician

About the role

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Route-Based Pest Control Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for servicing a scheduled route of residential and/or commercial customers while providing high-quality pest management services. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, enjoys interacting with customers, and takes pride in delivering thorough, professional service. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled pest control services on an assigned route.
• Provide general pest control services, including treatment for ants, spiders, cockroaches, wasps, and other common pests.
• Inspect properties for signs of rodent activity and perform appropriate rodent control and exclusion services.
• Perform termite inspections and treatments, as qualified and licensed.
• Provide mosquito control treatments for residential and commercial properties.
• Identify pest activity, entry points, conducive conditions, and potential pest-related issues.
• Apply pesticides and pest control products safely and according to label requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and document treatments performed.
• Communicate service recommendations and pest-control findings clearly to customers.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage an assigned daily route efficiently and arrive at appointments on time.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and inventory.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely handle and apply pest control products.
• Ability to lift equipment and supplies and perform physical work as needed.
• Previous pest control experience is preferred.
• Current pest control license/certification is preferred, but training may be available for qualified candidates.

Schedule

Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Typical hours will vary based on customer appointments and route needs. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required.
