Responsibilities
- Reviews Work Order, PO, procedures and specifications assigned to him/her by management
- Facilitates what equipment is needed for assigned inspection job
- Generates a JSEA prior to the start of each job
- Standardize the equipment per assigned procedure
- Verifies all inspection equipment is up to date and visually inspects equipment to assure it is in good working order
- Engages with Client representative to locate items to be inspected and retrieve any client documents, routers, etc.
- Ensures proper traceability of material/ products to be inspected
- Cleans material and work area to an orderly fashion
- Takes frequent inventory of NDE and Soft craft kits and company vehicle and lets supervisor aware of upcoming equipment/ material needs
- Cleans and maintains company vehicle if one is assigned
Education/ Certification/ Training/ Experience Requirements
- SRAT Rope Access Level 1 Certification
- UT Thickness, MT, PT Level 1 or Level 2 Certification
- At least 3 months experience as a rope access technician
- As dictated in manual no. TMS-30-M-US-01 – NDT Personnel Qualification and Certification
