Rope Access Tech III
Acuren Inspection is seeking Full Time Rope Access Technicians in Tulsa, OK. Preference given to candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background.
About the role
The Rope Access Technician manages the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, organizes work functions specific to rope access jobs, and supervises crews performing technical and industrial services at heights. The role ensures compliance with IRATA standards and regulations for safe and effective work performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
- Be conversant with relevant work techniques
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
- Demonstrate all skills and knowledge required of IRATA Level III
- Assist other technicians as required
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements
- IRATA Level 3 Certification required
- Thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, theory, equipment, rigging, maneuvers, climbing, hauling, and advanced rescue techniques
- Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in various industrial environments
- Current first aid certification
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
- Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
