About the Role
Supports the successful execution of all operations in the hotel operations departments (including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping) and manages staff. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of the department. Ensures compliance with established standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Translates departmental goals to the team, focusing on guest tracking and productivity.
- Communicates employee and guest satisfaction results, developing action plans to address areas of improvement and leverage strengths.
- Ensures the team has the capabilities to meet expectations and understand evolving guest needs.
- Follows property-specific second effort and recovery plans.
- Publishes guest satisfaction results, including comment cards and guest letters, in a timely manner.
- Takes proactive approaches to address employee concerns and extends professionalism to all staff.
- Communicates goals and results with employees and assists in scheduling based on guest and hours/occupied room targets.
- Performs hourly job functions as needed.
- Provides excellent customer service by being readily available and approachable for guests.
- Resolves guest concerns proactively and extends professionalism at all times.
- Ensures all team members meet or exceed hospitality requirements.
- Assists in managing profitability by performing required annual Quality audits with the General Manager and Regional Director.
- Ensures a viable key control program is maintained.
- Understands financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; and 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major; and 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.

Pay
$31.73–$38.46 per hour, with bonus eligibility.
