About the role
Live! by Loews – St. Louis is a newly opened hotel located in Ballpark Village Live!, part of a collaborative effort between Loews Hotels & Co, The Cordish Companies, and the St. Louis Cardinals. The hotel offers 216 guestrooms, 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and multiple food and beverage outlets.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food, beverages, and amenities promptly and accurately to guest rooms.
- Set up trays, carts, or in-room dining tables with precision and care.
- Greet guests warmly, explain orders, and respond to questions with professionalism.
- Ensure orders meet hotel presentation standards and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Cook with precision and care, ensuring orders meet hotel presentation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to guarantee timely preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in room service areas; clear used trays and restock supplies.
- Follow all food handling and sanitation guidelines to uphold safety standards.
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of quality food service techniques and standards.
- Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighting 35 plus pounds.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in food service operation preferred.
