Cleaning Duties
- Collects and removes trash from assigned patient and public areas daily.
- Sanitizes all surfaces in assigned areas.
- Stocks paper items, cleaning solutions, and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated.
Infection Control and Equipment Operation
- Demonstrates complete knowledge of infection control and isolation procedures.
- Operates cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Bed Management
- Utilizes Bed Management system to track the flow of beds.
- Uses hand-held technology for tracking bed movements.
Other Duties
- Cleans and disinfects areas containing bodily fluids in accordance with facility standards.
- Documents all work performed.
- Accesses ancillary units, restrooms, and offices in assigned areas.
