Room Attendant (Seasonal)

About the role

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant at Montage International, you will perform all daily housekeeping duties for cleaning guest rooms, contributing to the organization as an active business partner supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Responsibilities

• Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas
• Change linens, make beds, organize collateral on tables, straighten furniture, dust and vacuum rooms, and empty trash
• Be courteous and helpful to guests, including reporting any guest requests or preferences
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by the Housekeeping leadership team
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may be outside the normal scope based on business needs
• Promote a positive image of the property by displaying a pleasant and upbeat personality during guest interactions
• Respond to and carry out specific guest needs and requests
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms

Requirements

• One (1) year prior experience in a similar cleaning position
• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, handle or feel objects, tools, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally climb or balance
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Exert physical effort in cleaning multiple rooms per shift

Pay

The base hourly wage for this position is $22.71.
