Room Attendant - Part Time

Cleaning Duties

• Cleans and prepares guest rooms
• Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms
• Sets up cleaning cart with supplies
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures
• Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilet(s) and stall walls if applicable
• Cleans mirrors, sink(s) and walls
• Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities
• Restocks literature
• Washes all hard floor areas
• Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings
• Strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh bedding
• Lifts mattresses to check for soil
• Checks closet for cleanliness and restocks supplies
• Vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways
• Inspects all room equipment and reports issues
• Maintains door and window locks

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. continually
• Must be able to push, pull and move levers, equipment and furniture
• Must be able to work with arms raised above head
• Must be able to maneuver fully loaded maid cart, weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to identify minute debris and dirt in poorly lit areas
• Ability to read written instructions and computer print-outs

Environment

• Prolonged strenuous physical activity in indoor climate-controlled environment
• Excessive heat and humidity in laundry

Pay

USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
