Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Respond courteously and pleasantly to guest needs and requests.
• Assist team members as needed, embodying the “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy.
• Promote and exemplify the company culture.
• Meet/exceed company goals and three metrics.
• Adhere to Vision Hospitality Group and property-specific brand standards.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and tidy.
• Report deficiencies and out-of-order equipment to maintenance.
• Deep clean one room daily, including bathrooms and hallways.
• Replenish supplies and arrange furniture.
• Vacuum rooms and hallways.
• Report vacated and clean rooms, occupied and clean rooms, or any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and personal appearance.
• Follow fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assets.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the General Manager.
• Keep confidential the business functions of the company.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable about fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment.
• Good eyesight enabling vision both near and far.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Clear, understandable voice and ability to hear and understand English.
• Able to bend, stretch arms overhead, and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
