Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and corridors.
• Courteously and pleasantly respond to guest needs and requests.
• Assist teams when needed, living the “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy.
• Promote and exemplify the company culture.
• Meet/exceed company goals and three metrics.
• Adhere to brand standards and report deficiencies to maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas.
• Deep clean one room daily.
• Clean bathrooms, disinfect surfaces, and replenish supplies.
• Vacuum rooms and hallways.
• Report vacated and clean rooms, occupied and clean rooms, or any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow fire alarm procedures.
• Perform any additional duties requested by the General Manager.
• Keep confidential company business functions.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality.
• Able to work flexible schedules.
• Honest and good with others.
• High integrity and humble.
• Knowledgeable about fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Responsible for guests, associates, and hotel assets.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours and work in a restricted space.
• Good vision, including near and far.
• Able to climb stairs.
• Clear, understandable speaking ability and hearing.
• Able to bend, stretch, lift up to 25 pounds.
