Room Attendant (Full Time)

About the Role

Join our dynamic team at The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa, part of Hyatt, and work in a beautiful setting with an unobstructed view of the ocean. We are looking for individuals who can provide authentic and memorable experiences that deliver the Southern California Dream to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms daily, ensuring all areas are completed within the designated timeframe.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all guest rooms.
• Provide thoughtful touches to enhance the guest experience, such as arranging personal items, closing curtains, and placing bedside mats.
• Work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure guest preferences and special requests are met.

This list is not all-encompassing, and daily work tasks may be altered to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read, understand, interpret, and carry out directions and instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Work independently and make sound, responsible decisions.
• Ability to walk and stand for at least 95% of the shift.
• Reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, and carry.
• Use hands to grasp, hold, and perform manual activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Good organization skills.
• Work independently with minimal or no supervision.
• Excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $21.50 / hour.
