Room Attendant

About the role

You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience at Town & Country Resort. You will expertly clean, service, and refresh guest rooms daily to deliver that fresh, welcoming vibe every time. This is a physically active position requiring strength, stamina, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset in a resort-scale environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms per resort standards: make beds, replace linens and terry, dust, vacuum floors, sanitize bathrooms, and refresh all surfaces for flawless presentation.
• Collect soiled linens, inspect for issues; restock towels, toiletries, water, minibar to par levels.
• Use vacuums/carts correctly; report maintenance or hazards to supervisor or engineering.
• Keep carts, storage, equipment clean, organized, and on schedule.
• Handle guest requests courteously, especially during peaks or events.
• Follow safety, sanitation, chemical, and PPE protocols for check-in readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is strongly preferred — but if you bring a positive attitude and take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces, we’ll provide the training you need to shine.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of cleaning methods, linen care, and the safe use of chemicals and housekeeping tools.
• Strengths: Dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about making every guest room welcoming and spotless. Must be able to stay active throughout the day and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility: Availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential in our fast-paced resort environment.
• Language: Ability to understand and follow basic English instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull (linens, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning supplies).
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and stretching while making beds and cleaning rooms.
• Must be comfortable using cleaning chemicals and housekeeping tools safely.
• Ability to climb stairs when needed and work across multiple buildings throughout the resort.

Schedule

AM shifts: Monday–Saturday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Sundays 9:00 am–5:30 pm.

Pay

$21.35/hour.
