About the role

The Old No. 77 Hotel is a boutique boutique hotel located in the French Quarter, offering a unique guest experience with a rotating art gallery, signature amenities, and a renowned restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Properly utilize equipment supplies and guest amenities
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned guest areas
• Daily change and inspect linens and towels, following the Green Program
• Practice safety standards and report hazards
• Respect guests' property and equipment
• Report to work on time and maintain accurate time records
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
