Room Attendant

About the role

Half Moon Bay Lodge is looking for a dynamic Room Attendant to join the team. The room attendant is responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways, and other areas as assigned while complying with Company standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean guest rooms to Company standards, including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, and wiping down walls.
• Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
• Follow Company policy for room inspections and turn-down service.
• Turn in all items left in guestrooms to the manager.
• Maintain complete security of the master room key and return it at the end of the shift.
• Never leave the property with the master room key.
• Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention.
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Report any missing, found, or damaged articles to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

Pay

$17.91 - $18.50 per hour
