Room Attendant

Duties

• Thoroughly clean all surfaces, floors, and furnishings in assigned guest rooms and common areas.
• Restock approved guest supplies such as towels, toiletries, and other required items.
• Open windows for ventilation when weather permits and check room features like televisions, remotes, smoke detectors, and HVAC units for functionality.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including vanities, toilets, tubs, mirrors, and floors.
• Vacuum guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces, removing debris from behind and under furniture.
• Report any maintenance or repair concerns discovered during cleaning to management.
• Organize and restock housekeeping carts and storage areas, empty vacuums, remove trash to designated disposal areas, and assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled.
• Handle master and room keys securely at all times.

Requirements

• Physical stamina, including standing, bending, lifting, pushing carts, and using cleaning equipment throughout the shift.
• Dependability, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently while meeting cleaning standards.
• Reliability, time management, and a professional attitude.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience helpful but not required; training provided.
• Comfortable working around stairs and handling cleaning supplies safely.

Pay & Benefits

Schedule

Shifts include day and weekend availability based on hotel needs. Housekeeping start time is 10am. Weekends are mandatory.
