Room Attendant

About the role

This position is part of the heart of the house team at The Heathman Hotel, a historic establishment in downtown Portland since 1927. The role involves providing essential services to ensure guest rooms are clean, stocked, and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Properly remove trash and dirty linens from guestrooms
• Use cleaning chemicals to clean and sanitize each guestroom
• Replenish all supplies and amenities to standard
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard flooring to standard
• Deliver or retrieve requested items from guests
• Ensure guestrooms are secured
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets
• Adhere to the lost and found policy for all guest items accidentally left behind

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
