Room Attendant

About the Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining and cleaning guest rooms according to the standards of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean guest rooms to hotel standards
• Receive instructions and make reports with accuracy
• Work independently and partner with others to promote teamwork
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail

Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Minimum 1-year Room Attendant experience, preferably at a luxury hotel
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of applicable laws regarding hotel and restaurant operations
• Great attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills
• Gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
• Results-oriented with flexibility to work under pressure
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight, and overtime as needed
