About the role
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hotel rooms, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to brand and IHM standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning rooms
- Rearrange rooms after guests check out
- Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, or disturbances
Qualifications
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Effective problem solver in the workplace, able to anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve issues
- Excellent guest service skills, ready to assist guests at all times
Physical Demands
- Regular standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 25 pounds
Schedule
The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing, and other factors.
Pay
Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
