About the Role
The Room Attendant position at The Draftsman Autograph Collection Charlottesville is dedicated to ensuring the comprehensive cleanliness and meticulous preparation of guest rooms and suites. Responsibilities
- Clean assigned rooms/suites according to standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
- Replenish room amenities such as toiletries, paper products, and towels.
- Maintain the cleanliness of exterior entryways and hallways.
- Stock and organize the housekeeping cart daily to ensure readiness.
- Manage issued room keys responsibly and follow proper key control procedures, including handling keys left by guests.
- Deliver lost and found items promptly to the Executive Housekeeper’s office for documentation and safekeeping.
- Immediately report any unusual conditions or concerns in guest rooms to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Respond to and fulfill special guest requests courteously and efficiently.
- Ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all guest rooms and suites.
- Keep linen closets and supply areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Report maintenance issues and assist in resolving guest complaints or concerns.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, carry, and bend during the majority of the shift.
- Ability to work independently.
