Room Attendant

S&L Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Room Attendant / Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. This role requires weekend availability and a passion for working with people.

Responsibilities

• Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including towels, linens, and amenities.
• Accommodate and anticipate guests' needs; respond promptly and professionally.
• Thoroughly clean guest rooms and bathrooms (vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen, emptying trash cans).
• Report maintenance needs or items left behind by guests to the appropriate department.
• Become familiar with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
• Meet hotel and company standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull more than 20 lbs (housekeeping carts may weigh 40+ lbs).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions for the majority of the shift.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs, with availability for 1st shift (preferably 8am–5pm) and weekends.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on completing room setups as required by the property.
• Maintain a composed, gracious, and professional attitude.
• Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
• Work independently and efficiently.
• Successful completion of a background check related to the role’s responsibilities.
• Minimum age of 16 (some positions may require 18+ due to responsibilities or legal requirements).
