Rooftop Experience Manager

About the role

The Rooftop Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Rook, the rooftop bar at Catbird, a boutique hotel in Denver's RiNo neighborhood. This role involves leading a team, managing beverage programs, and curating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Rooftop Operations: Lead daily operations, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and ensure compliance with all standards.
• Maintain schedules and manage labor costs to align with business demand.
• Oversee beverage ordering and inventory management for the entire hotel.
• Create and manage seasonal cocktail menus.
• Manage logistics and staffing for rooftop events and activations.
• Partner with hotel leadership on guest conduct, emergency response, and incident documentation.

Requirements

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• One to two years of employment in a related position with this company or other organizations.
• Excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters.
• Excellent oral communication skills for communicating with guests and associates, issuing instructions, and communicating policies.
• Knowledge of food safety and chemicals/agents for training purposes.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent vision required for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, reading floor plans, charts, schedules.
• Continuous standing to assist at hostess station - minimal stationary standing.
• Climbing stairs - varies by location.
• No kneeling required.

Pay

USD $75,000.00 - USD $78,000.00 /Yr.

Schedule

Success in this position requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and major event dates. The Rooftop Experience Manager is expected to lead during the property’s busiest periods. Preferred schedule is Tuesday-Saturday with the expectation of supporting Rook and rooftop programming through close. Schedule adjustments may be required based on business demands, special events, and seasonal activations.
