Roofing Service Tech

About the role

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs to ensure they are in good condition. This includes assessing roof damage, ordering materials, and supervising laborers.

Responsibilities

• Assess roof damage and recommend repairs or replacements
• Order necessary roofing materials from suppliers
• Supervise and train laborers in proper roofing techniques
• Document work performed and communicate with clients regarding progress and completion
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and building codes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related roofing experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Experience with roofing machinery and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
