Roofing Sales Trainee

Overview

Best Choice Roofing is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Entry Level Roofing Inspectors. This role is ideal for individuals looking to break into a high-growth industry with structured training and strong income potential. As an Entry Level Roofing Inspector, you will conduct property inspections, identify storm-related damage, and guide homeowners through the roof restoration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive comprehensive training on damage assessments, roofing products, and the process for helping to restore homeowner's property to like new condition.
• Respond to warm sales leads by visiting homeowners, conducting roof and property inspections, guiding customers through the restoration process, and providing solutions to help fund any needed repairs.
• Generate new leads by canvassing neighborhoods where property damage has occurred and speaking with homeowners about risks and solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
• Rapidly respond to warm sales leads to close contracts for our services.
• Generate sales leads through neighborhood canvassing and door knocking.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
• Conduct damage assessments and present findings to homeowners (thorough training will be provided).
• Provide estimates and funding options and collect payments as required.
• Work with insurance companies and meet with adjusters to facilitate the best outcomes possible for homeowners.
• Obtain agreements and contracts from homeowners for roof restoration services.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and actively participate in team communication.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years previous sales, customer service, or consultative experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with lead generation or direct customer engagement is a plus.
• Must possess a valid drivers license with access to reliable vehicle transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for success.
• Capable of utilizing technology (computer and smartphone apps) and gathering and analyzing information.
• Ability to climb a ladder and scale roofs for inspection.
• Capable of working outdoors, including walking and occasionally carrying up to 50 lbs.
• At least 40 hours of daytime availability weekly (Schedule is flexible, but most Saturdays are required).
