Roof Loader - Warehouse Associate

About the role

We are a wholesale distributor of building materials selling residential and commercial roofing products. We are seeking a full-time Loader to work in a safe environment with positive people.

Responsibilities

• Support the Driver at the Branch by loading the truck and riding with the Driver to the job site to unload the building materials safely and efficiently both on the ground and on the roof.
• Unload roofing materials onto the roof of the building with attention paid to the Roofing Contractor's needs and the homeowner's property.
• Support the Driver by assisting with loading products onto roofs.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Provide superior customer service by double-checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support including shipping/receiving.
• Pull orders for walk-in customers.

Requirements

• Able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience being on roofs preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work on roofs.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written).
• Basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written communication skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.

Pay
