Rollermeter Operators are responsible for loading materials into machinery, maintaining equipment and sanitizing work areas.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly understand how rollermeters operate, how to clean them, how to eliminate issues like spilling and clogging
- Set up and calibrate rollermeters correctly and be able to calibrate batches with unique issues as necessary
- Periodically verify sizes coming out of rollermeters and complete sizing checks after completion of batches
- Periodically verify "reject" product is actually defective, and resolve issues if product was rejected incorrectly
- Load and setup frosted glass tables
- Operate frosted glass tables and ensure extra product rejection is minimal
- Complete traveler paperwork, cleaning logs, maintenance logs in their entirety
- Solve daily issues with rollers, like improper calibration, spillage, clogging, and daily maintenance
- Determine sizes of objects with precision
- Perform visual inspections of product
- Perform cleanliness inspections
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a team player
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
