Roller Operator

About the role

The Roller Operator reports to the Sr. Operations Manager and is responsible for pressing and checking components based on engineering and quality standards to satisfy customer requirements. Working in tandem with Assemblers, the Operator ensures proper production levels are met while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively administer job plans and procedures
• Operate and assist with the use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in alignment with company best practices
• Utilize measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers
• Produce high-quality product in line with set hourly metrics
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot assigned machines
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of machine operation work experience
• Solid understanding of measurements, drawings, and their corresponding application
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Ability to use calipers and dial indicators
