About the role
The SA Roller Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery to smooth and compact road surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Operate asphalt roller to level and compact road surfaces
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience in construction or similar field
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
- Proficiency with asphalt rolling equipment
- Good physical condition
- Strong attention to detail
Skills
- Knowledge of construction techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
