Roll-Off Driver (Orlando FL)

About the role

We are looking for a safety conscience Roll Off Driver to join the team at our Altamonte Springs, FL location.

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
• Courteous interaction with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Work involves extensive physical activity, heavy lifting (over 50 pounds), exposure to outside weather, wet/humid conditions, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise; adherence to basic safety precautions is required.

Requirements

• Valid CDL (cannot have an automatic restriction for this role).
• Minimum 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of truck components to complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.

Pay

$25+/hr DOE

Schedule

Tuesday through Saturday, start time 4:00 am to 4:00 pm, 10‑ to 12‑hour days. A typical schedule is Monday‑Friday with an occasional Saturday as needed, resulting in a 50‑55 hour work week.
