About the Role

The Roll-Off Truck Driver is responsible for loading work equipment such as skid steers and other machinery and/or equipment onto a Roll-Off truck and safely transporting those to various job sites. The driver also transports work-related materials such as gravel, broken concrete, and dirt to designated dumping sites as directed by the Foreman on site.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily vehicle and equipment safety inspections of the truck and its components before the first trip of the day and after the last trip of the day using Samsara software. Reports unsafe wear and tear or any safety hazards to management.
  • Loads Roll-off truck and safely drives equipment to various locations in the DMV area.
  • Receives directions from the Foreman on required equipment for the job site and where to deliver material waste.
  • Ensures the truck is clean and free of trash and debris at all times.
  • Wears PPE as required for duties being performed.

Requirements

  • Must have a CDL Class B and at least 2 years of commercial driving experience, with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
