Roll Form Machine Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Machine Operator to work in our steel panel production department. This position is responsible for operating a roll form mill to produce steel panels cut to custom lengths. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a team-first mindset, take initiative, and communicate with respect.

Responsibilities

• Operate a steel roll form mill
• Load and unload steel coils with a forklift
• Band and put away steel
• Run equipment to produce panels to specifications
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and consistency
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow company safety procedures
• Work collaboratively within the team to meet daily production goals
• Support other areas of the plant as needed
• Learn and cross-train on other machines

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work on your feet for 90% of the day
• Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds regularly
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation, attendance, and punctuality
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• General understanding of how steel panels are used in construction
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team accomplishments

Pay

Base pay rate is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Thursday. Hours may vary depending on operations.
