Roll Form Machine Operator 2nd Shift
About the role
A Roller Former Operator is a vital position within the facility that produces quality product for quality consumers. An operator must be able to operate with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in tooling set ups, die changes, and utilize equipment for production of material to keep within tolerance specified by work orders, diagrams and blueprints
- Load and unload parts on roll former machines
- Makes minor adjustments and performs coil and line changeovers
Qualifications
- Preferred experience includes roll-forming, machine set-ups, and part inspections
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to work overtime/weekends as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout the workday and 80lbs as needed
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
Pay and schedule
Base pay starts at $18.00 plus $2.00 shift differential. 2nd Shift: 2:00PM – 10:00PM, hours may vary depending on operations. Shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year. This position has potential overtime.
