Job Description Fenstermaker has a full-time opportunity for an entry-level Survey Rodman. The Rodman will provide support to the Party Chief in the daily responsibilities of collecting data with designated equipment. The Rodman will be a champion and leader of our company's core values while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction. Some Responsibilities Include Load and unload survey equipment, tools, and supplies to and from job sites.Carry, set up, and position tripods, prisms, rods, stakes, and other field equipment as directed by the Party Chief or Instrumentman.Hold and operate prism poles, leveling rods, and other survey accessories to obtain accurate measurements.Place stakes, flags, and markers for property lines, utilities, and construction layouts.Assist with clearing brush, debris, and obstacles from survey lines.Perform digging, probing, or other manual tasks required to locate monuments, pipelines, or utilities.Maintain and organize field supplies including stakes, nails, flagging, paint, and lath. Ensure proper care and handling of equipment; keep tools clean and in good working order.Follow safety standards and procedures on job sites, including the use of PPE and awareness of site hazards.Support survey crew operations and perform additional duties as assigned by the Party Chief.
