Robotics Trained Urologist, Northern Westchester Hospital

About the role

As we expand our urological health services across Northwell Health, we are seeking a Robotics trained Urologist to join our team at Northern Westchester Hospital. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating urological conditions using advanced robotic-assisted surgical techniques. You will work in a state-of-the-art surgical environment alongside a team of experienced medical professionals to deliver the highest level of patient care to the patients in the communities we seek to serve. Northern Westchester Hospital is at the forefront of urologic surgery advancement. We're the first hospital in Westchester County to offer Aquablation®, the only image-guided, automated robotic therapy for lower urinary tract symptoms from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or enlarged prostate. With the da Vinci Surgical System®, our surgeons use a high-definition 3D camera and highly specialized instruments that offer a full range of precise motion in tiny incisions. This enables greater precision and the ability to preserve more healthy tissue. We conduct numerous clinical trials as a demonstration of our commitment to the advancement of patient care. You will be working in Mount Kisco, New York, a beautiful suburban community in Westchester County approximately 40 miles from midtown Manhattan. Are you Made for this?

Qualifications

• MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
• NYS License.
• Completion of Residency with Board Certification or eligibility.
• Current / eligible for NYS
• Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital management.
• Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques.
