Robotics Software Integration Engineer, Mission Autonomy

About the role

The AD&S Vehicle Software team at Anduril Industries is seeking experienced software engineers to join our mission to develop foundational vehicle software for autonomous robotics systems like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of advanced effects. Our team collaborates across disciplines to create software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry.

Required Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in Software testing or related technical experience
• Experience with requirements based verification and implementation of verification strategies with a strong emphasis on automated tests
• Extensive knowledge of software development, processes, and verification tools, such as C/C++, Python
• Track record of architecting software test plans in the Aerospace and Defense space
• In-depth knowledge of requirements management, risk based testing approaches, defect tracking, and configuration control
• Strong Knowledge of Software Testing Principles and Methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience standing up automated hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure
• Functional knowledge of mission autonomy for collaborative platforms, including crewed/uncrewed teaming and formation flight
• Knowledge of data fusion from multiple sensor and track sources, with understanding of distributed fusion principles
